Join Our Advisory Board
The DC Landlord Association Advisory Board is composed of engaged, experienced members who are committed to supporting landlords, shaping programming, and strengthening the housing community in Washington, DC.
Serving on the Advisory Board is an opportunity to contribute your knowledge, experience, and perspective while helping guide the direction of the Association.
Membership Requirement
Advisory Board participation is open exclusively to active members of the DC Landlord Association.
You must be a current member in good standing to apply or be considered.
If you are not yet a member, we invite you to join the Association first and then submit your interest in serving on the Advisory Board.
Purpose of the Advisory Board
The Advisory Board supports the Association by:
Providing strategic insight and guidance on landlord-related issues
Advising on education, events, and member resources
Helping identify emerging challenges and opportunities for DC landlords
Supporting responsible housing practices and policy awareness
Strengthening engagement between the Association and its members
Who Should Apply
We welcome interest from Association members who are:
Property owners or landlords
Real estate professionals
Housing advocates or service providers
Developers, investors, or industry experts
Professionals with experience in law, finance, construction, compliance, or property management
Advisory Board members should be collaborative, solution-oriented, and committed to advancing the mission of the Association.
Expectations
Advisory Board members are expected to:
Maintain active membership with the DC Landlord Association
Participate in periodic meetings and discussions
Offer thoughtful input and recommendations
Serve as ambassadors for the Association when appropriate
This is an advisory role and does not involve day-to-day operations or legal authority.
