To help protect our community, we are offering FREE pre-treatment and snow and ice treatment services for seniors in Washington, DC, and we need our members’ help spreading the word.
If you know a senior who may need assistance during winter snowstorms, you can refer or recommend them at no cost.
Why This Is Important
Many seniors face challenges during winter weather, including:

Difficulty shoveling snow or applying ice melt
Limited access to family or support during storms

Who Should Be Referred
Members are encouraged to refer seniors who:
Live alone
Have mobility or health challenges
Live in single-family homes or small residential properties
Do not have reliable help during winter storms
There is no cost to the senior for these services.
How Member Referrals Help
When members recommend seniors:
We can identify needs before storms occur
We can prioritize seniors who are most vulnerable
We can coordinate services efficiently and safely
